Research

Currently I’m working on:

Mining the Student Data for Fitness

This research aims to learn students' demands on campus infrastructure. We use anonymized data from CougCard , the WSU official identification for all students, to analyze and predict student flow on popular spots around campus, so that students can know how busy it is and plan their time better. Currently, we focus on mining the fitness data with the goal of encourage students to workout more

Fun

In my free time, I like running and play with my dog. I also play Guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, at a high amateur level. Watch my performance on WSU's Chinese New Year Gala 2015 on Youtube.
